Some things that I like that are happening or fixing to happen:
My brother Joel is coming back in August sometime from Iraq or Tehran or Cobra or somewhere overseas...then he goes to Alaska to finish out his term and then home to Missouri with his girlfriend Sara!
My brother Mike is coming back to the house before he moves to Mayflower to finish out his last semester of school. We are going to make sure things are kosher on my stupid car!
Things I don't like (speaking of car!)
My car is not running correctly at the moment. When I am driving it hangs on about 1600 rpms (which is down from the 2600 rpms it was doing!) before it decides to idle at the correct 850-1000 rpms. I think, after much research and much stuttering, stalling, and quitting completely, it might be a faulty O2 sensor. This should help fix it...we shall see.
The Ford Dealership. They never EVER listen to what I am telling them is wrong with my car and always want to "set up an appointment to see what the problem is..." They never take responsibility for anything they do and what they recommend is never the right thing for fixing a problem. Example: I went in to have my computer flashed in my car. This was recommended by the Ford Dealership because they said that anytime an Idle Air Control Motor is installed the computer should be flashed to set the idle back to its normal level. Ok. No big deal. I drive all the way to the dealership and they charge me a fee to flash the computer. I take it down the road and the idle is still not cooperating. I go back to the dealership and explain what is going on and they said "Well, we reset the idle to normal." I never asked them to reset my low idle, I wanted them to fix my HIGH idle problem. The low idle was never an issue in the first place. Then the attendant starts in with "Do you want us to set up an appointment to see what the issue is?" No. I want you to know what the blazes you are talking about in the first place, listen to the person that has the problem and go from there to fix it. (this is how they make their money...hooking up an $80.00 an hour machine to tell you a bulb is out on your lights or something...no crap...i can tell the bulb is out...it doesn't come on, you fool!) Anyway, they refunded my money because they don't want to deal with the problem...which is still not fixed...see above.
Another thing...my computer has two hinges that cover the power input and power on/off buttons. These were broke. I called in a tech service call since they would be fixed for free. Now that I have new hinges, my computer gets freakishly hot near the mouse pad and left side where the hot air is supposed to be leaving the computer. It is hot enough to burn my fingers if I leave them on there for any given time. Now, I have to call them again and figure out what is going on with it...uugghhh.
I also don't like not being able to find any freaking ammo for my pistols. And, when I do find it...I have to pay $40.00 a box for the stuff. I just bought (well, six months ago) a new .380 pistol and the distributor I bought if from sold my ammo out from underneath me. I paid for the pistol and two boxes of ammo up front!!! When my pistol finally came in, they had no ammo for it. I have yet to shoot the darn thing! Can't sight them in if you can't shoot them! On the other side, I can't sell the darn things since no one carries any ammo for them! UUGGH!!! People say this will settle down eventually once whatever Obama is doing in office passes but geez people...
Well, I think that may be enough of ranting and raving...thanks for listening...or whatever.
